1. What did you do in 2004 that you'd never done before? taking a semester off from school is about the only thing i can think of.

2. Did you keep your new years' resolutions, and will you make more for next year? i didn't really keep it since i vowed to never fall for a boy ever again, but that obviously didn't pan out. and for good reasons :) i also wanted to lose the 15 lbs from college, which i did and then some. i think the only one i'm making this year is the cliche 'quit smoking'. although i don't know how well that's going to go.

3. Did anyone close to you give birth? friends of the family, but that's it.

4. Did anyone close to you die? the guy wasn't super close to me, but we had hung out a few times in high school. so i guess so.

5. What countries did you visit? absolutly none.

6. What would you like to have in 2005 that you lacked in 2004? less credit card debt. ha.

7. What dates from 2004 will remain etched upon your memory, and why? quite a few from kent involving the boy next door, my last night in kent spent with sam and his roommate..a few other terrace hall memories and the spitalfield show outside of the rock hall since that's when josh and i first started dating. and then warped tour following that cause it was the first date. aww..cutes.

8. What was your biggest achievement of the year? getting through my freshman year of college with a semi-decent G.P.A. and not getting on academic probation in the fashion school. i'm lazy, so i thought it could have happend.

9. What was your biggest failure? taking a semester off (waste of time) and becoming a nicotine addict thanks to school.

10. Did you suffer illness or injury? no

11. What was the best thing you bought? all i ever really buy is clothes. so any of those apply. or my chanel necklace. class.

12. Whose behavior merited celebration? all of my friends. the boyfriend. jane from work.

13. Whose behavior made you appalled and depressed? i'd rather not mention them.

14. Where did most of your money go? clothes, food, make-up, shows, haircuts and cigarettes.

15. What did you get really, really, really excited about? the summer time. and going back to kent after spring break, etc.

16. What song will always remind you of 2004? "milkshake" - kelis, modest mouse and anything off of "oh inverted world!" by the shins

17. Compared to this time last year, are you:

a) happier or sadder? by far happier.
b) thinner or fatter? thinner. i'm not at school eating fried food and sitting around.
c) richer or poorer? probably somewhat richer due to me being home for the semester.

18. What do you wish you'd done more of? traveled.

19. What do you wish you'd done less of? worried/stressed.

20. How did you spend Christmas? eve was spent at my grandmother's with the family, and christmas was with josh and his family.

21. Did you fall in love in 2004? psh. yes.

22. How many one-night stands? um. no.

23. What was your favorite TV program? sex and the city. duh.

24. Do you hate anyone now that you didn't hate this time last year? i don't hate. i just wish a healthy does of std's on the person. and i don't think i dislike someone that much currently. i'm all love.

25. What was the best book you read? i don't ever find time to read books. unless you consider textbooks, then i guess...no.

26. What was your greatest musical discovery? i'm really liking rilo kiley right now.

27. What did you want and get? clothes, time to figures things out outside of school, and a cute boy :).

28. What did you want and not get? eh. i'm not sure.

29. What was your favorite film of this year? eternal sunshine of the spotless mind and napoleon dynamite.

30. What did you do on your birthday, and how old were you? i think i went to olive garden with my family, went shopping at southpark and then over to nicole's to bake a birthday cake. oh, and i was 19.

31.What one thing would have made your year immeasurably more satisfying? i'm not even sure. maybe some time spent down in the outer banks would have been nice.

32. How would you describe your personal fashion concept in 2004? i wear what i like. and most of the time it was dark jeans, a white tank top, and a black hoodie. i'm fairly plain for the most part.

33. What kept you sane? my friends, music, and josh.

34. Which celebrity/public figure did you fancy the most? sarah jessica parker and ashlee simpson.

35. What political issue stirred you the most? political season is out of session for me. but i guess the election outcome.

36. Who did you miss? all my friends in kent who decided not to come back this year, maybe 1 or 2 people from high school.

37. Who was the best new person you met? geeze. there's a list..josh, whitney, sam, matt, al, wanida, kandice, claire, ted, chrissy, molly, anna, gina..i don't even know..i met so many amazing people this year<3.

38. Tell us a valuable life lesson you learned in 2004: you really can't change things that were meant to happen. no matter how badly you dislike the outcome.
