Not surprised I did this: if I put it down once, it's safe to say that I'll do so again. Still, I will finish this meme! Just watch me!
Day 12 - A game everyone should play.
When I first picked up Okami, I'd heard it was a good game and not much else; I really didn't read to much about the backstory or development. I knew the art style was suppose to be good, and there was use of a paintbrush tool, which I figured would be fun.
What I found when I started playing however, blew me away.
Even on the Wii system, this game is a must-play for everyone as far as I'm concerned. The graphics look like a painting come to life, the gameplay fabulous, the characters a delight and the storyline grabs you. Admittedly I'm very bias: I love Zelda-like gameplay, and have a known affinity for Japanese history & myth, not to mention the titular character being, well, a wolf, but really this is one game I think everyone needs to experience at least once at some point.
Day 13 - A game you’ve played more than five times.
Of all my games on the Wii, Smash Bros is one I've probably played the most often, simply because I can get my kicks, set a few goals, and then move on. I didn't have a lot of competitiors when I picked up the game back in Ontario, but thankfully the Wi-Fi access means you can play against anyone anytime, while Classic and All-Star mode gave me some nice trophies.
Runner-up: StarFox Command. Again, you kinda need to play more than five times just to get all the endings y'know.
Day 14 - Current (or most recent) gaming wallpaper.
I change my wallpaper weekly, so needless to say I've got quite a few. Attached is my most recent. ^_^
Everyone needs a little Koopa in their life now and then. ;)
