I'm still not quite certain why I picked it up: the reviews I read previously from Gamespot suggested not to waste my time, however it looked cute, and the idea of a cheerleading sim sounded fun, another oddity since I sure as heck didn't try out in High School. As the hundreds of reviews I later discovered on Amazon claim however, this game is actually very, very addictive. You basically move two Wii remotes like a set of pom-poms to various pop/workout songs (including Walking on Sunshine and, oh yes, FOOTLOOSE!) while trying to keep in-time to the figure on the screen. What's impressive is that it really makes you want to move, and you do get a good aerobic work out, far more than Wii Fit or other titles. So long as the cute girlyness doesn't bother them, I'd recommend this to anyone looking for good clean fun & a little exercise.
