Day 17 - Favorite antagonist
Really didn't need to think too long on this one.
Got Bowser?
Kidnapping princesses before it was cool, there's something charming about the Koopa King's fiendish ways. He's the original big bad and he knows it, with troops, traps, and offspring following his charge in repeated attempts to take over the Mushroom Kingdom or get Princess Peach to finally be his (whichever comes first). It's appealing how his character can swap from a dangerous determined evil mastermind to a cute but determined-to-be-villain bumbling bad boy. He's wicked as the big boss of Galaxy, and downright hug-able in the Paper Mario games. He's out to conquer the known universe, but he's also got a crush the size of Jupiter on the pink princess next door.
And really, I can't help but crackship because think Peach goes for it more than she admits. Considering how good she is at defending herself (Super Mario RPG, Smash Bros., Super Princess Peach) how else could Bowser keep kidnapping her time and time again? I mean if she was really tired of it, you'd think she'd hire herself a good security system or something. ;)
