So, have you even heard about this thing? By what I could make out, the news made a decent bang over here but got very little screen time where it actually maters. In a nutshell:
From the look of it, it's perfect sensationalist media material. So I'd take everything with a pinch of salt.
But such things do happen, and to say it sucks is putting it very mildly.
People cite such incidents as some of the reasons why they want a smaller state. Problem is, with smaller state (and bigger corporations in control) things suck even more.
It does sound like a big media huff-an'-puff, I agree. And jsut to muddle things up even further, two of the three local psychologists the first article mentions are also house friends. Which on one hand means I know them personally and methinks they're not the kind to start jumping to conclusions or getting involved without some good reason. On the other hand, though, that's exactly what might make me even more biased. Gah...
Not sure how having a smaller state might fix things, though.
Just having one of my antisocial bouts, is all. Nose shoved into various games and then into exam books and then back to games again. Nothing very much at all happening lately, so why bug people with that? ;)
Should I write about games, then that would be a job and once it becomes a job it stops being fun and if its not fun, I donćt feel like doing it. ;)
Casual games, msotly; stupid stuff, the lot of them. I've also been playing the part of a walking, talking Drakensang and Witcher walkthrough for bf. Still beats having him play WoW, though...
Yep. Just few days ago mom and dad dug up some of my old ones. About two-thirds of them would probably get teh arrested, if one were to go by these standards. Gah...
In the meantime, the issue got resolved, parents got their kids back, all charges withdrawn... I do, however, wonder what's going on with that family now. I can well imagine them trying to lead normal lives again; I can't quite imagine them to have an easy time of it, though...
