Mooo-ving Along

Part 5 of the build of my tauren, which is really starting to come to character.  This is a lot of fun to do!

So I've managed to fur part of Kano's head with the black fur I was given, thanks to wolfblade360 who brought over a bag of assorted fur a while back when he came for a visit over the summer.  I hadn't managed to get the jaw set properly at that point or I would have probably attempted starting the white fur too.  Probably a good thing as this is making me pace myself so I have to take my time.  Patience isn't one of my strong points some days...

The eyes turned out pretty good for a first attempt.  They are kinda creepy; they follow you around no matter what way you look at it, but that's exactly what I wanted.  Anyone ever see a green eyed tauren?
So with that done, I got my act together and managed to get the jaw where it was supposed to go, and I set to work working on it so i can fur it later.  I liked the idea of chompers, so again thanks to komickrazi and her gorgeous set of cutters on her Toro, I made a set for Kano.  Again I blew it when I went to paint the damned things and used neon instead of white but dammit!  The color is so damned close I just grabbed the tube and brushed it on.  Well, if nothing else, Kano will have glowing white teeth...literally.  Same as her horns. *laughs*  Made the teeth out of Sculpy and then added vinyl to the bottom for a lip.  The top of the head has a lip as well that I added a bit of foam and then put vinyl over the top so she has a thick upper lip.  Then set to work making a tongue.  Basically the head is now ready for the white fur.  That's for another day though.  I have to tend to a rather nasty glue burn.

wow, fursuit, tauren, world of warcraft
