Woo! I finished Kano's head this morning aftr gluing my fingers numerous times and then sticking it with a needle. X_X
So after fidgeting with the fur I was using for most of the head I decided to use a longer ruff in the front so it will match up with the body, which will be the next phase of the build. Thanks to Rainbow Wally and his mate Sulli, they sent me the fur I had horrible trouble getting all the way from Saskatchewan. I don't know why, but long white fur is almost next to impossible to get around here.
I had to do a fitment just to see how it sat after everything was all tweaked up and it fits pretty darned good! The jaw moves fluidly and the vision is just as good. I used the dog clippers I have for my Akita as they are heavy duty to trim up some fuzzy stuff. Worked like a charm! The nose I modified so the nostrils ar vented for more air supply, as well as the roof of the mouth. Lots of places for air to come and go. Now comes Phase 2: The Body. OMFG this is gonna be interesting... she's going to be anatomically correct and NO it's not going to be one of THOSE kinds of suits!
