Machete in Justice

Happy Birthday Holly! Hopefully you will get this just under the wire. It is just a bit OTT fluff to brighten your night. Hope the song or the story will bring you a smile! :D
Oh and before I forget, Jess I blame this on your misplaced encouragement! LOL…

Machete in Justice

“Quite a day we had there Jack.” Tony offered has the pulled a stool.

“Yeah, but nothing like being resurrected from the dead.” Jack countered.

They both chuckled as the bartender eyed them suspiciously.

Ordering their drinks they both remembered how much they missed the company each of the other. After a long day they always seemed to end up in the same watering hole and doing just this. However, tonight was different. As they each tried to find a place to start they felt the pains of all the lost years heavy in their hearts.

Leaning back into his seat Tony cut through the wall with a possible misplaced question. “Hey Jack, what was up with you and that cute little red head?”

Choking on his drink Jack tried to contain his laughter, as well as his liquid truth serum.

“Cute?” His forehead creased with confusion as his eyebrows revealed his distain. “She’s a liar and cheap dime store excuse for an agent. Damn Tony, death has really screwed your vision. Miss Preppy was just a puppet who just could not keep her story straight!”

I want a girl with a mind like a diamond
I want a girl who knows what's best

“You still think I’m the same ol’ Jack. Tony, I’ve changed.”

I want a girl with shoes that cut
And eyes that burn like cigarettes

“She had great eyes, but she lied, to you, to me, to every one.”

I want a girl with the right allocations
Who's fast and thorough
And sharp as a tack

He agreed with Jack. Surveying the room he was desperate to help his friend find happiness.

“Okay Jack, you are right but you have to admit she was hot.”

“Tony,” Jack continued, “I know what you are trying to do and it’s not going to work.” He sipped more of his beer. “See that blond over there?”

She's playing with her jewelry

“She is looking for her ‘mister good-bar’.”

Looking at the woman Tony nodded in agreement.

Jack continued. He glanced to the brunette at the end of the bar, his focus drawing his friend’s eyes to her.

She's putting up her hair

“No confidence.”

Next his eyes brought them to the woman in blue.

She's touring the facility
And picking up slack

Ignoring the hopeless possibilities Jack’s mind burned with a single thought.

I want a girl with a short skirt and a lonnnng jacket......

His mind started to form the girl of his dreams.

I want a girl who gets up early
I want a girl who stays up late
I want a girl with uninterrupted prosperity
Who used a machete to cut through red tape
With fingernails that shine like justice
And a voice that is dark like tinted glass

“Neither one of us is going to find her here.” Jack added in defeat.

She is fast and thorough
And sharp as a tack

Tony looked again at the woman in blue and smirked. “Jack is right again,” he thought.

She's touring the facility
And picking up slack

As the serum filled their senses and looking into the flashing darkness he could read his best friend mind.

I want a girl with a short skirt and a lonnnnng.... lonnng jacket

Although he agreed with the assessment, Tony thoughts were just a bit simpler.

I want a girl with a smooth liquidation
I want a girl with good dividends

Sipping his beer as the music played Jack continued his imagined explanation of discovery.

And at the city bank we will meet accidentally
We'll start to talk when she borrows my pen

“Jack that is all well and good,” Tony exclaimed, “But look where that mind-set got you.”

Pissed that he was going there again, Jack beat him to the punch. “No, I am not looking for another Audrey. We all know that was a mistake.”

“Just a mistake? Jack, she was an idiot!” Tony shot back.

“So you’ve told me,” he huffed.

“Well, I wish you’d listen to me once in a while.”

She wants a car with a cup holder arm rest
She wants a car that will get her there
She's changing her name from Kitty to Karen
She's trading her MG for a white Chrysler LeBaron

“She could never make up her mind and she was never good enough for you.”

“Fine Tony, I agree.” Jack growled. “Now what am I suppose to…”

Jack’s voice faded as he noticed the shoes that walked into the place. The skirt that showed her legs caught his breath. The jacket that touched her thighs burned his heart. Following the line up he found the perfect allocations. He found the machete of justice in her eyes.

“Excuse me Tony; I think it is about time I asked her to dance.”

Tony watched as the two friends held each other. He saw that the passage of time had brought their honesty in heart. He realized Chloe had finally grown up and Jack had become young again.

I want a girl with a short skirt and a lonnnnggggggggg jacket
