New!Improved!Riley storyline is not on hold, per se, but I swear, if you haven't found anyone to fill it...

Anyway, I think Tay's definitely a Scoobie, even though she and Buffy are gonna be constantly battling it out for who's "in charge".

I also offer Donna for the spot April occupied in the Inn. >.>

Hee! I don't think there is anyone else at the moment to fill New!Improved!Riley storyline, so unless someone comes in and surprises us in the meantime... We really don't have a lot of younger male characters, have you noticed?

And yes. She's a Scoobie. Just a... Faith!Scoobie.

I will keep Donna in mind. We'll have to have them actually meet somehow, but!

I'm trying to figure out things, but it'll probably hinge on interaction and the like. Really, this comment has no point other than I wanted to flail over the "Crashing Down" lyrics.

But, uh, hey! If there's people you think Buffy should be thrown at in the near future, it can happen... Or something.

Coherency, I know what it is.

*Giggles* I knew you'd enjoy that.

And yes! Buffy needs to interact with your characters, and then we can see what happens. This would be easier if she were actually in Chicago, but... it's Buffy. She'll find ways to get into the city as soon as she's settled.

I thought I heard somebody calling in the dark - I humbly offer El for this. Because for one, that would be hilarious; two, oh the potential for breaking; three, he seems to have gained a sneaking reputation among the white-hats as the guy who knows what's going on.

If we don't think he can keep up the balancing act, he could slot into going back on what they asked you to believe, too.

I would offer up Malek for excuse me, you're too busy writing your tragedy, but I don't think that would work, seeing as Malek is so thoroughly gay.

*Salutes* Absolutely. I'll put El in the Giles spot, and tentatively in the other one.

*Snicker* Yes, probably not so much. Though it would be weirdly adorable/hilarious.

Erm, I offer Shepard for there's no one in the corner and there's no one at home? Seeing as she's filling the same role for Dresden... she's enjoying corrupting people. I think she enjoyed it in ME-canon too, because she had such fun turning Garrus and Kaiden Renegade. XD;

Also, Ciara for all the things you shed your blood for... Morona could certainly use some Slayer-ly help in bringing her down. Demonic serial killers would probably be something both of them are interested in getting rid of. And Morona's noncombatant.

And on that line of thought... Morona for bring me a love that can sweeten a sword? =P

Hee. Shepard would fit well there, considering how much Buffy likes her already.

And I will put Ciara there. I'll wait to see how Buffy gets along with Morona to put her anywhere, so we'll definitely have to arrange for them to meet. ^^

I'd like to offer Harry as a potential candidate, though I'm not sure what for. It all depends on what your plans for her are in the long run, and how she would react to Harry becoming a bit more evil later on. Maybe going back on what they asked you to believe?

He definitely fits there, yes. Buffy likes him quite a bit already, and him becoming a bit more evil will definitely get her pretty damn upset... (Not that she hasn't forgiven people for being evil both before and later on in her canon...)
