Thanks! I'm glad you found the FBI thing believable. I kept thinking it was unbelievably trite, but I loved the idea, so I went with it. What can you do, right?

I'm also so glad you liked the friendship. I didn't feel like Veronica was really ready for a 'relationship', you know? I think the history that she has with him is enough, for now, to maybe put her on a healthier road.

Oh, this was great! I loved the twist about Weevil being undercover and Veronica's overall acceptance of despair and darkness was just so palpable. You paint a bleak and yet also hopeful picture of her life in this AU.

Heee! I'm so glad you liked it! I was afraid that undercover Weevil was going to really screw up this 'world,' but I went with it, and i'm glad it hasn't ruined it for anyone so far. Thanks so much for the loverly feedback!!

Also, amusing fact, the bartender's name was originally Josh. But I didn't want it to be misinterpreted. ;)

Just loved this. There really isn't enough Weevil/Veronica fic out there and I enjoyed the future universe you've created for these two, with Weevil in the FBI and Veronica more jaded than ever. Absolutely fabulous.

Just wonderful...I love the little touches, how he missed her (and I *so* thought you were going for that he missed her 'head tilt'), her sense memory of his motorcycle, and how in the end, he's still 'her' Weevil.

:) Thanks, you! I'm so glad you liked it! I imagine he misses a LOT about her, but the fact that she's always straight forward I imagine is sort of a relief for him.

I didn't want the end to not fit. So I didn't want to fix everything and make her 'better.' But I think having Weevil...who knew her before...as part of her life, that can only be a good thing, right?
