And damn you, miss luv, for perpetuating my FNL 'OT3'. How come no one else picked up on those Billy/Tyra vibes, I wonder? Ah, well that's why I love you. I love how you've written her relationship to Timmy in this one- she knows he's a shit but she loves him anyway. And Billy...He's got a few years on him, he can see everything that Timmy's throwing away, and that hint of regret...That's gorgeous, girl.

Lovely missing scene - and you captured perfectly Tyra's mix of guilt and anger and caring (and love) that drives her nuts because she doesn't want to turn out like her mother, and she knows Tim's bad for her (and yet... between the soulful eyes and the hotness, who can resist him).

Sigh.

Thank you! I'm so glad you felt I captured her...I imagine it's hard to have to take care of her mom, and Tim. You totally have my view of her in a nutshell! :) That's exactly what I was trying to say, so I'm really thrilled that it came across!

Thanks so much! It's not an easy dynamic to capture, and I'm so glad you felt I got it. I really like the three of them, and all the imperfections that add up to what we love about them and what they love about each other. :) (Or, sometimes, the imperfections they overlook in order to love each other...)

YAY! for the !butstillcanon! part! They're all a little harsh, but you know that Billy loves his brother, as much as the kid drives him crazy. I loved the ep where Tim leaves to go see his dad, and Billy yells all these instructions at him, and you know it's only because he wants to protect him...
