This was absolutely amazing! I haven't seen the series, but I've read all of the Dexter books, and you've captured the tone and voice of Dexter perfectly.

Wow, this was great! I haven't read the books, but it's perfectly in character for both Dexter and Deb from the series, I could actually hear the actors' voices. Very well thought out, amazing story. Thank you for this, I love D/D...

Thank you! I wanted it to really follow with the characterization, and I'm so glad you felt the voices were on. He's hard to write--he's got this weird mix of being duty and code-bound, and emotionless. It's hard to find that balance.

Yeah, Dexter's head is scary place. You have made me want to rewatch the series, though.
