I was away last week for a great mini-vacation (Mon-Wed), which was honestly the best thing I've done in a long, long time. The boy and I went to see some bands on Warped Tour, and got rained on the whole day, and I met up with some long-time friends which was amazing, and in general it was super fabulous ( Read more... )

Oh, I know, I felt so bad when I woke up and saw the rain the next day! And it's a sin, because it's been really beautiful since then!

Honestly, it turned out really well for that day--I don't do well with heavy heat. I actually fainted at one concert because of the heat, so the rain helped keep me cool. But the aftermath appears to be a nasty cold. :( Still, wouldn't change it for the world. It was such a great and necessary break. And, hey, I got to meet you! So, totally worth it. :)
