Re: Haven, I have the dumbest question ever: Did we ever SEE Audrey finding out she was Lucy? I feel like I missed something. All of a sudden, in the finale, she's moping, and then she's blurting out the truth. I was like, "Wait, whoa!"
Oooh, thanks! I'm going over there in just a minute! I'm almost completely caught up with IPS, and I've heard they've been renewed for 2 seasons...but that doesn't start for a while, so I'm expecting withdrawal to hit fairly soon...
Funny story about Haven. I am seriously out of touch - for some reason I thought they'd stopped at 11 and were making us wait. As it turns out, they just stopped posting episodes after that. Apparently, Hulu will have them up a MONTH after they air. Brats. I did read, though (more or less accidentally) that there were vague clues in the 12th ep, but I found that there was some loss of continuity from 10 to 11, too, so it wouldn't surprise me if they just forgot to show her finding out.
Explain Haven to me...I've been meaning to ask you this....Is it something I would like? I feel like my tv schedule is rather empty, and will be especially when DWTS is off the air.
I really enjoy it. I think you might. It's the relationships that really get me in that show. They have some interesting characterizations, and I'm always a sucker for the strong, unsure outsider. It's a thing. :)
The basic premise of the show is that an FBI agent is sent to Maine to investigate something. She's an orphan, and while in Haven, find a picture of someone who she thinks might be her mother. So she stays for a while, and discovers that odd things happen in the town, and that she's pretty good at dealing with them.
It's a 'mystery of the week' type thing, but it's the characters that get me. They really have some good casting, which is practically unheard of on SyFy.
I would recommend watching at least the first...3 episodes. That should give you a good idea of if you'll like it or not.

I think I might have to get cable.
