OH MY GOODNESS I LITERALLY DO NOT KNOW WHAT TO DO WITH MY HANDS.

Honey, this was fabulous! Have you been doing a ton of recon on them or what? You even got the name of her ex-boyfriend!

And this is really the first year that Val has really stuck around long enough to show anything of his personality but what I have seen from him over the years, and the way he interacts with Maks and talks about his family, I think you have him perfectly too.

I ADORE that clip. It lets me pretend that the fic is a reality - LOOK at how they're all wound up in each other there!! My god, they just EXUDE adoration.

Oi. You did a job on me - I had to wiki them and watch every interview I could find, and I must have watched that contemporary routine like...20 times. Not much out there on Val, but...man, he's so ridiculously adorable with her!

And, by the way - best. feedback. ever. It's so great that you enjoyed it - it ate my brain for HOURS last night and I'm just so, so pleased that it fit the way you see them and that you *flailed* and noticed my unhealthy obsession research. :D Thanks for the inspiration and the love!

OMG, I love these! The lat one is ridiculous, but that's why it's fun. And I got more on Val from the first clip than i did from wikipedia. I had to guess he was from Russia based on his name. It was great to see how he and Maks interact with one another.

Love love love the mother's day one. His sense of humor and his love of family just shine through. Man, he's just ridiculously adorable, isn't he?

Here via leobrat's recommendation, and like her I did not know what to do with my hands when I read this!!

It was just so good - I love the deliciously angsty push-pull that's going on throughout it; and the little details (like her ex's name) made it so much more real.
