Sky today

Today's sky picture includes a lovely parasitic plant that has come to play an important part the Yuletide/Christmas Celebrations. There just wasn't many clouds (actually none for most of the day), so I give you mistletoe in a group of lovely oaks.

I love fresh mistletoe. My dad would always bring some home when he'd go out hunting.

I never had the pleasure of seeing it up close until I moved to my current house. It grows on the bradford pears in my front. Easy to reach, but not as ... meaningful as the ones growing on oaks. Those oaks are across the street. ^-^ It is really pretty though no matter where it is growing.
