I'm pretty busy as well as being really tired and worn out today, so I'll keep this short:

We spent the weekend in Hoboken with the lovely Didi. Hoboken is really charming. We did not get anything at Carlos Bakery (home of the Cake Boss on the Food Channel)as the lines were very very long. I wonder if they were that long before his TV show

That is luscious! The glaze gives the piece that translucent glowing quality that you sometimes see in Rookwood pottery.

Laurel, Jackie, Miriam and I were at the Met and they had a whole case of pottery we took to be pate de verre. Your piece has a similar quality.
