I am thrilled that little Emily is healthy and that you eventually will be too..... but that SUCKS about your recovery!!! I hope its fast. Once you're moving around again and things have calmed down a bit I will come over to meet her.... :) YAY congratulations!!!
Recovery sucks but I'm happy you and the baby will get through it. I have been thinking about you. I can't wait to see Emily when you're up and around!
Ugh. Sorry about all of that, that sucks, but glad to hear little Emily is doing well, and that you have someone there helping you through your recovery.
As someone who has had a c-section (I didn't get to take home my tumors, though), let me give you some advice....
Be careful when you sneeze.
Even now, almost four years later, I still get sharp pains in my abdomen if I don't hold my hands there when I sneeze. It's okay when standing up, but sitting down or laying down for some reason.... hold your hands over your abdomen if it all possible. You'll thank me later.
Well, from what I was told, my surgery was worse than your average c-section, since you only get two incisions - belly and uterus, and I had four - one on the belly (mine is still numb as well) and then three on the uterus, since all three tumors were in different spots. Fun, huh?
