I just made that observation to Bill last night. He spits when he's working. He says that exertion makes his mouth water.

I know! I was talking about this with my mom. I've heard it's because they chew tobacco. Great: Get mouth cancer AND spit brown everywhere.

and BJ Upton does spit constantly.

A lot of players chew gum or eat sunflower seeds though - not all guys are in the cancerfest.
