August, August - We Meet Again

Well I presented my grad school research presentation to my father and - thank the lord - he FINALLY understood that it is totally infeasible for me to go to grad school in business without first gaining some professional experience. I'm glad your dad gets the picture. And having a kid??? WHAT? Hi you're 21.

As far as working out goes, I hate going to the gym in summer because I don't have any structure so I don't schedule it in, but you can't easily go ride your bike or rollerblade in milwaukee unless you are RIGHT at the lakefront. Good luck with all that. You've got dedication skills, I'm sure you'll be fine.

PS I miss you!

I thought about you the other day, I was trying to remember the first year of high school. And I still remember sitting across the room from you in science class. Hard to believe we've been out for 3 years now, bleh. Anyway, now the bit I had in response to your entry:

Working out is such a pain in the ass to fit into the daily routines. I totally feel you on that. I did really well for the first 2/3 of spring...and then I was like "fuck this I have too many projects to work on". Also, I discovered that eating more vegetarian meals--or one with meat per day--helped me to maintain weight...I also felt healthier in general. Stir fry is really quick and easy (20 minutes prep at most) so you could try that. Best of luck with the exercise/weight loss though!
