I thought it might be interesting to see if you loyal readers could name the 18 states that I have been in and suggest why I might have been there

Well, i have to ask does it count states you're just passing through? otherwise, I'll give it a shot...
NC (duh)
Va (it's right there, man)
SC (see above, and i believe i remember that your gramma had a house at myrtle that you visited often enough as a child)
PA (i know you go to villanova for work, and also you went to a temple/wake bball game a couple years ago)
NY (you end up up there for work [maybe at syracuse, if i remember])
FL (same)
TX (same)
TN (same i think?)
CA (you worked in San Fran for a summer)
CO (you had to connect in denver for a flight back here)
Mississippi (maybe? for work?)
MD (for some sporting event or another, probably)
GA (you went to the ACC tourny in hotlanta, and probably other things)

that's all i got for now. 9 ain't bad for the moment.

i did alright, then... i know you were in one of the "deep south" states this fall for work, too (thus my mississippi guess). maybe it was ar-kansas.
