It's very overwhelming. And many may say what do I care, I'm not American, I don't live there, etc, but I believe that this turnout affects the entire world. :D
I keep telling people, if only people from outside the US could participate in this election, I'd have voted for him. I live in a country where we've lost faith in our government, and seeing Obama win your election teaches me to hope that good things CAN happen.
It's wonderful to be this united, Obama winning this election wasn't just for Americans alone. It's a victory for everyone.
Fucking BEAUTIFUL. I was talking to a German lady yesterday who told me that it WAS a big deal for them, because the U.S. is a powerful country. I had never really thought about it, I was just wondering why everyone else cared so much. It was a huge deal for me though. All of the campaigning and volunteering and handing out literature...paid off! My sister and I stayed up last night watching CNN, and just cried. The world is changing, moving in a good direction for once. And as he said in his "victory" speech, it shows people that anything is possible.

Alot of the people I know keep saying "YAAY! HE WON."
But all I can say is, "How is this gonna affect us?! WE DON'T LIVE THERE!!"
But I'm hoping that SOMETHING will change. :)
