It's been posted all over, and now I can't sleep trying to puzzle it out. The preface, the captions, the cover. Shit. August is still about 69 days away. The wait is just killing me, and other Twilighters around the world.

GAAAAAAAAAAAAH I am still trying to figure out what the chess pieces mean!! Like is it a metaphor for something?! What's the white one? The red one?! GAFDJSKLFJ lmao!

oh i understand your frustration! I think Edward's the red one, and Bella's the QUEEN. and chess reminds me of a checkmate -- meaning being cornered and having no choice but to surrender? I think in this book Edward will have no choice but to turn Bella (that, or leave her human, which is unlikely).

About the cover, I actually think both pieces are Bella but the red pawn is her as a human (that's why it's red, as in human = blood) and the white queen is her as a vampire, a strong creature, since queens in chess can move in every direction and all that. So, this means Bella will became a vampire.

I can't wait anymore! I think I'm going to burst! XD
