I read the most extradordinary essay this weekend - so perfect, I wish I could cut and paste it right here into my blog, and then I would be done. So true. There was also an article in the NY Times a while ago about authors feeling compelled to produce MORE than a book a year, because of the ebook phenomenon. I almost wonder if Swift's essay was somehow a response to that.
