Tips on what to do on a Skype author visit

Recently I did my first author visit over Skype. I've spoken at events before, and in front of kids, but never in a virtual setting. So I have to admit, I was a bit nervous. Would everything work properly? Would the students be able to hear me? See me? And not get bored in the midst of all that technology?

hi i read finding mighty and i wondered if you could make a book of how rose was still alive and how she was not found and the book would be like her from the beginning from why she started to cut diamonds and how she hid the diamonds

Hi! Sorry I didn't respond sooner. I didn't see your comment until now. Thank you so much for writing and giving me your feedback. I love your idea about writing more about Rose. I will have to give it some thought - especially since a book about her would be a spoiler. But you're right that she is such an interesting character, and is worth developing. Great idea! :)
