I'm loving all this music I'm falling back in love with after loooong breaks, e.g. Foo Fighters, The Thrills, The Shins... I always make a deal with myself that when I get sick of a band, I leave it alone and come back to it later. It's like finding them all over again. Hopefully I'll start listening to The Strokes again soon, because I've loved them for soooo very long. I think they're the band I've liked the longest... 5 or 6 years? Wow.
I feel bad for music snobs (hey, I was one for a while), and that goes for anyone who sticks strictly to one or two types of music. They're missing out on such good music from all genres :\ Pff, I say this, and yet still feel self-satisfied in being able to say "...Well *I* listened to (whoever) before they got really popular..." or "...Er... well you only like that band because *I* introduced it to (whoever) who introduced it to (whoever) who introduced it to you." But it's enough to be able to say it. I keep my mouth shut.
