That's what my life has been lately, RUBBISH, but it's Christmas time and even though I'm not in the mood, I'm not going to spout off and dampen the holiday for everyone around me

You know, you don't actually have to go full-on with researching on artist. Just a quick look at their page can tell you tons. Anyone who lists themselves on their artist page as "Trollie Trollenberg" probably isn't going to have the best business sense or practices out there.

And yeah, I've heard his name pop up a lot on Artist_Beware.

I wasn't too keen on his description either, but I know a lot of artist who list themselves with silly or belittling names.

I don't know if going to the mods would make a difference, but if you do try contacting witchiebunny instead of the others. She seems a bit more interested in what she does.

I really have nothing nice to say about that guy. I'm going to leave it at that. >:C

Anyway, yeah, he's shown up on Artist Beware a few times. My advice to you is to submit a complaint to Artist Beware. Since A_B is fairly effective in getting delinquent artists to do the right thing, I think that this would be the best thing for you to do. I will help you write up a post if you like, but I think that this LJ entry is a very good start.

Gather up all evidence: screencaps of emails (with personal info censored out), any communication between you two on FA or whatever. I also really think that you should include the screencap you've shown here. His "music" choice is incredibly insulting and uncalled for.

I'm going to talk to my credit union about reversing charges, but this will be next if that doesn't work.

Argh. That's not good. Hope everything sorts out OK for you! The uncertainly/lack of communication can be so frustrating, I know! I'm currently having difficulties with a taxidermist- I gave him my elk hide to tan, among other things (and a few hundred dollars in advance!) and then had a period of several months where I could not get in touch no matter how hard I tried- and- he had moved away from his house! Finally, I talked to someone who knows him, who called him up and then he called ME up right away (connections can be nice :P). Now he says it'll be just awhile longer. Hopefully that's true and I can get my elk hide back soon. :P
