I AM SO GLAD YOU LIKED IT. And, yeah, Caprica is so much love, and I kind of really wanted to write her for this, especially since I got you for my recipient and you and your talking about Caprica is kind of a lot of the reason I've managed to get a handle of why I love her so much. Because if she were in the real world she would be the most amazingly touchy feely friend in the world and watch Enchanted all the time and just generally be all awesome, all the time.

This is great (it's also the first BSG fic I've read in a super long time, and a great reminder of what I've been missing!). I love Tory's voice and her doubts, and her awareness of who Caprica is. I also like your construction of Caprica as someone who loves so many people and has faith. It's a kinder view of her than we sometimes see.

Oh, thank you so much! That's a really sweet thing to say.

And, yeah, I think ever since the show has started moving away from the mini-series and her role in that it's been harder and harder to see her as anything other than basically well-intentioned and a hopeless romantic. In fact, I sort of see most of the sixes that way (except for head!Six, who is and will always be one really scary lady).

One of my favorite things about Tory is her unwavering opportunism, and I love how that quality comes through in your vision of her life on the baseship. She wants to hang out with the Cylon because they worship her so, forget Gaius, she gets her OWN girlie groupies!!! Her faith, like Caprica's, carries its own empty innocence, which is underscored at the end by their imminent arrival on apocalyptic Earth.

(um, there are a bunch of typos though...)

Thank you! And, yeah, I love that about Tory too - and I think it's just incredibly fascinating that she would embrace her cylon-ness so actively, especially as all the rest of them were trying desperately to hang on to their humanity.

(And, damn, you are right about the typos. Thank you for pointing those out - I have a really bad habit of going back and doing major sentence re-writes even after everything is beta'ed and checked over, but I'm usually at least better about noticing my own missing words and letters D: I'm gonna get to work fixing some of that now.)
