Oooh, this is just lovely. Even though she doesn't get much screen time, I really do like Gwen, and her plus Faith is kind of crazy in the awesomest way ever. Great voices, and I love all the fuss over one book. :)

Thank you so much! I really like Gwen, too - she didn't have much screen-time but I think they made really good use of her character when she was around.

I am so sorry my feedback is late for this! Life kinda blew up and I was away from LJ for awhile, but that's no excuse, because this is an amazing story and I love it and I should have told you much sooner.

From the opening scene, I was captivated by this story. I love how it's so typical that Giles calls Faith to deal with a situation like Gwen, not only because of who she is, but because of how much she enjoys it. That line being separated off from the others was really perfect.

She still backs away, though, because starting a fight with a crazy stranger is rarely a good idea even when you've got superpowers at your disposal.

I love this line. It's so pragmatic and so true and so perfectly Gwen.

The whole story is so perfectly in character, though, it's hard to pick favorite parts. You've really captured both women, from the way they talk to the way they view the world to the way they interact, it's all fantastically true to the characters and I love it.

And I don't want to come across as judgmental here, because I actually ( ... )

Don't worry! I've been having my own problems with real life and responding to comments and things on LJ, so I understand completely. But I'm really glad you liked the story! I was really happy to get the prompt - everything came together really well, and it was fun to write, and I'm glad people seem to like it. The two characters play off each other really, really well. And thank you for the lovely comment, it really made my day!
