Crafts of 2008 part two. Lots of images again.

#11 - Lisa's Birthday Card

It features a dancing pukeko. This is a bit bigger than A4.

#12 - Lisa's Birthday Cake

Excuse the super festy oven :( Ben, stop leaving your sultanas around!

It was a simple vanilla cake, with 5 different colours marbled together. I covered the whole thing with plain icing. I wish I'd gotten a picture of the middle after it was baked. It was a pretty good surprise in the middle :) Very easy to make, too.

#13 - Melted Record Bowl

Ben and I each made one of these. Using this tutorial. Super cheap and quick.

#14 - Pukeko Sleeping Mask

I love this fabric. Sleeping mask #2, as I left my first one in Sydney one time. I used proper binding this time, but I didn't put it on quite properly.

#15 - Mother's Day Curtains

Replacing the old, 70's curtains in Mum's kitchen. Hi Cass!!

With some new, girly curtains. Sorry, Dad.

The top frill is in yellow with flowers and fairies.

The bottom part is in coordinating fabric in orange.

I have apparently developed a total inability to spell 'curtains' and not 'curtins.' Damn you, living in Curtin.

#16 - Ribbon Weave Cushion

Made with 3 different types of ribbons woven together and sewn to the front of a cushion (also made by me).

#17 - Sheep Scarf

Made from super-soft polar fleece with a sheep embroidered on the front. The sheep is wearing a scarf and not consuming another sheep as Ben guessed...

#18 - Daffodil Painting

Acrylics on canvas board. About 60cmx30cm.

#19 - Three Rose Drawings

Three quick roses I drew. Two in crayon and one in pencil. They are on A3 paper.

#20 - Crocheted Scarf for Cliff

A scarf I made for Cliff to wear when he came skiing with me. Made of a pretty hideously coloured wool. Cliff doesn't mind. He just likes being warm.
Ironically, the only shot I got of him while at Jindabyne looks like he's in the middle of a desert in summer.

Go to part 3!
