Crafts of 2008 part 4. Yet more pictures.
#31 - Sheep Box
A plain wooden box bought at an op shop. I painted a sheep on the front and mini sheep around the outside.
#32 - Painting Wall Hanging
Made from a panel of fabric that was printed with an image of this painting. I'm not even sure who painted it. I made a 'frame' out of fabric to go around it, then backed and quilted it. I'm really proud of this one.
#33 - Flower Hair Clip
This was made out of a boring brown hair clip I found. I glued a photo I'd taken of a flower to it to help welcome Spring.
#34 - Bird Painting
One night, as I was falling asleep, I was describing to Ben a bird I was imagining in my head. I drew it when I was finished, and then Ben drew what he pictured from my description. I liked Ben's better, so I painted them. I really like this, and will turn them into a bigger wall hanging very very soon.
About 5x6"
#35 - Sheep Ornament
A simple felt sheep I stuck together to go on the Christmas tree.
#36 - Small Bird
A small bird made from
this pattern.
#37 - Wrist Bag
It is lined in pink with strawberries on it.
I love this cat fabric! Such cool kitties.
Made for Lisa for Christmas. I love these bags. From
this pattern. (Warning - link is to a PDF)
#38 - Big Christmas Bird
I enlarged the pattern from the little bird and made him in Christmas colours. I like this size much better.
#39 - 2 Big Birds
Preview of the hanging thing.
More big birds. I didn't get a picture of these by themselves. I ended up turning them into a hanging display, which you'll see later.
#40 - Iris Pictures in Frame
I gave this to Mum for Christmas. The iris images were from my folio of photography from this semester. The mat-board was cut by my framing guy. I love how this looks, and I'm sorry I only got crappy pictures of it.
