When it comes to grieving, and mourning its a bit new to me especially when the death is bigger than that of a guineapig. The last family member I remember passing was my grandfather on my fathers side of the family. I don't remember him that much and I was around 10 or so when he passed away. I know what you mean. This is the biggest death I've had to deal with since my old cat that died years and years ago.
I'm annoyed that I can't afford to come. The tickets for the flight alone would run me over $600 and unfortunately that is money I don't have in my bank account right now (after just having to pay to get a part replaced on my car for inspection). Frustrating as all hell, but I will pay my respects to his family nonetheless.
Thing's will be okay Elaine we just have to stay strong and focus. Jeremy certainly wouldn't want us down for long. He was always trying to find ways to lift our spirits into "go" mode. :)
