So you know, this "we" is not a mouse in my pocket, but jollirottenkita

To fast forward (after 6 hours of driving, which started Friday evening):
Saturday morning, 7 am, three more hours till Atlanta.
In Atlanta:
We find our way to Luckie street (harhar); we see the Tabernacle at about 10:45 am.
This is a significant part of the trip, because we see three semis and two tour buses and enter fangirl-ness excitement. We decide to go and drop our stuff at the hotel before we start standing.
The hotel cancelled our reservations.
After about 30 minutes of subliminally berating the hotel manager for doing this just to scalp money out of the concert-goers (and threatening to shit on the floor, but between ourselves), I tell the guy what an invaluable amount of help he was and to the venue!

So at 11:15 we're in line, about 25 people in front of us. Then three people jump in front of us, but between the smell of bum shit and watching roadies we really don't care all to much.
So we wait.
And wait.
And wait.
For the record, the people ahead and behind us were really cool.

At 6 everyone stands up and the line thickens up. At this point, the anxiety is a little intense. At 6:30 they start security checks. At seven they open the doors and scan the tickets, and then: CHARGE!
Everyone was running and my mind was blown. We had to walk upstairs to get to the floor. Huh? So we ran and managed to secure a FRONT ROW view DIRECTLY IN FRONT of Jeordie.
Then another hour of waiting.
Somehow, we managed to get right next to Stephanie103113, which was a super strange coincidence.
The Dresden Dolls come on, they were fantastic. Brian broke his bass pedal and threw it in front of Amanda (to show her it was broke) she laughed and stopped singing. He threw it into the crowd later. It was hilarious.
Half an hour later, I’m yelling “Buddyyyy!” and “Leo!”
Then the lights go out and Pinion starts up. Then Trent comes out.
WEIRD. It was weird.
And then Jeordie’s like directly in front of me.
They start with The Frail (omg hehe), which was fantastic and I totally got into it. Then The Wretched and then Wish.
At this point I was already praying for La Mer because there was a bunch of assholes next to us. Then, apparently, Sin--yay, The Line Begins To Blur (Jeordie didn’t seem so bored this song, and it was great screaming “I DON’T KNOW, I DON’T KNOW!”)
Then... March Of The Pigs. Great performance, but the guy next to me, who was determined to scream out the lyrics before Trent did--and continuing to scream HEY FUCKING PIG as annoyingly as possible--really sorta ruined it.
Then Something I Can Never Have-- really fucking cool.

THTF, eh, wasn’t my fav, but good performance.

Terrible Lie was fucking awesome.

Then Closer-- everyone started yelling like it was the best NIN song--blah. The mic broke and they had to stop. When they fixed it I guess the ear things (I’ll call them monitors) broke, and Trent had to bend over in front of Leo while he worked on it. Really cute.
Then Home, didn’t really notice it.

BURN! Fuck yes. Amazing.

Reptile, wasn’t that big of a fan, but it was really fucking cool to hear it live. Again, the idiots next to me were getting a little too into it and in the process I got some elbows. You Know What You Are, fucking great, I reallly loved that.

Then Suck, I was ecstatic to hear this. I think his mic broke during this and everyone just kept singing.

Then Gave Up. Great fucking performance, seriously, but I was starting to get sick and I wanted out. I was super proud of myself when I got my hand in the air for “fist fuck!” I think it was this song where Trent tossed out a bottle and the chick next to us took a sip, dumped it on Krista and then I took a sip. Yay for Rez DNA.

Then Hurt; it was really neat hearing all the people sing the lyrics. The second verse either Trent or the crowd screwed up and it was kinda funny.

Starfuckers. Fucking hell yea. It was great. I was totally into it. And this is a person who doesn’t move and barely sings along at concerts.

Head Like A Hole. I actually JUMPED for this one. I was totally fucking into and I got a pity glance from Jeordie. I’m not sure if it was HLAH or Starfuckers but Aaron jumped up onto Alessandro’s keyboard-monster-synth thing and it was great.

About the second verse I put my hand over my mouth so as to not puke on Krista, and then flagged down a security guard, who, then, had to get two, because I was passing out. I started walking, or, ugh, stumbling, and heaving and stuff. Eventually I puked (though it was nothing, I hadn‘t eaten that day), and after a billion more pity glances, an off duty firefighter came to my rescue and took me into this room. Got me water and everything. Really fucking super nice guy. He kept me talking about Tool and APC. Then a EMT guy came and checked me and walked me out. Of course after some gusy in there were being bitches and saying, "what drugs did you do, huh?!?" and "Maynard would not be proud."
Then I met back up with Krista and she went in and got us hoodies. Yay.

So overall, a fucking awesome experience. Can’t wait for the fall tour!

Oh, btw, I am sore and I can't move. As Krista said, "we could be getting kidnapped right now, and we'd just be like, 'stop it, stop it'"[enter loose, apathetic hand movements.]
