I'm supposed to be reading.  And that's what I've been doing... only the wrong books. I'm supposed to be reading Arabian Nights.  Which is probably fasinating, but I don't want to because it's for class.  Instead I've read a little bit of The Perks of Being a Wallflower and paged through a little bit of Edith Hamilton's collection of mythology.  I ( Read more... )

Are you taking the poor exscuse for Mythology class? We were supposed to read Arabian Nights too, but I got through about 60 pages and said "forget it, I don't have time to do this". Someday I will go back for it though.
I've found myself wanting to read classics too. Unfortunately, people that have said they're boring usually are right. But who knows. I recently bought Count of Monte Cristo in order to read it this summer. It's huge, but I'm going to try. I liked the move and the Wishbone version, so ;)

No, I bought the mythology book just for fun because unlike all the other kids in hs, I actually liked reading those stories. I got Arabian Nights for my MES class for a paper I need to write.
