Around 4 am this morning, I was slightly awoken by a low vibration in the apartment, which sounded like a truck idly loudly nearby. I tried to ignore it and go back to sleep. Either something has gone awry in the building plumbing, or some one has summoned an eldritch creature in the boiler room. We hope it's the former, since we're relatively certain the landlord knows who to call about that kind of problem.

Oh, man, I hope this doesn't leak onto any of your stuff.

On the upside, if your script does turn into a serial of some sort, can you work in a scenario where the same thing happens, but it *does* turn out to be an eldritch creature in the boiler room?

I personally think I'd have preferred it to be the rats in the walls, because then you could go down into the basement into another world and see Piltdown man, etc. Plumbing problems cause, well, problems, like not having water and water damage, as you said, not to mention having to dig up the lawn or the street to fix them...

I would have guessed for the eldritch monster. they are more fun and usually bring cookies...
