Sorry for the delayed feedback...

I very much enjoyed this story - particularly the way it was so difficult for Sirius to come to terms with enjoying being with another guy. I also liked your OC very much, which isn't something I say very often...at all. He felt real to me; he wasn't a complete jerk, he was multi-dimensional, with his own wants and feelings. The scenes between Sirius and Joe were hot...and the ending scene with Remus was wonderfully angsty.

I'm really pleased that so many people seemed to like Joe: as I haven't given such a big role to an OC before, I was a bit worried that he'd come across as a Gary-Stu.

Thanks for the feedback. It's always interesting to know how others perceive the characters, especially with regards to canon. Personally, I find it very hard to give teenage boys much credit; they are about as empathic as a brick, to my mind! And James, well, after his behaviour in OotP, he was asking to be used as such a shamelss plot device ;-)

As far as other fics are concerned, I have a short one (not really like this, at all...) here, but nothing else that's pure R/S, yet... but I'm brewing a bunny for the next SBRL Fuh-Q-Fest.
