I'm sorta stuck in a situation where I didn't have a room to- figuratively speaking -wriggle free....

Here's a thing about jogjakartans; they thrive in grey area. Pretty similar with japanese really. And it makes it rather difficult to say no without burning bridges...

And me, having the eloquence akin to a raging bull in china shop, didn't stand a chance.
