My library was dukedom enough!

sassy_lion asked to see my books in this meme.

I warn you, I am a bibliophile in the biggest possible way.

This is the bookcase in my room, with stuff.

Top shelf--my favorite Shakespeare plays, my Shakespeare-based fiction, and my Signet Classic Complete Works. (They're my favorite editions.):

Second shelf--Shakespeare reference. The giant one is really cool; it's got replicas of actual documents relating to him.:

Third shelf--miscellaneous collections (Oscar Wilde, Poe), English reference:

Fourth shelf (not pictured, for some reason)--school books and bindrs for current semester, in the magazine boxes you'll see in the next one.

Fifth (and bottom)shelf--miscellaneous books, more English reference (I kept my books from last semester), Paris is a book of pictures, van Gogh, and the binder has my Beauty and the Beast cards in it (they're Disney and pretty).

Bookcase number 2, in the alcove outside my room, with stuff (and Shakespeare Complete Works #2). This is, mostly, fiction. It's alphabetized, mostly, by author and double-shelved.:

The bottom two shelves kind of got messy. I had new books and didn't want to go back through everything and re-shelve. The shelf with the two copies of Good Omens has my high school yearbooks and my special Audrey Hepburn and Frank Sinatra books (like the Shakespeare, with the pull-out stuff).

Bookshelf number 3, in the living room. It's a giant built-in, in which I have a few shelves:

Twilight. I banished it from my room after Breaking Dawn. Not to mention I got new Shakespeare and it SO has precedence! (The ones on the right are Mum's.)

Individual Shakespeare plays, that I didn't have room for in my room. French dictionaries, etc. And Shakespeare Complete Works #3, given to me by that favorite professor (I happened to be there when he was cleaning out his office).

My antique books. I have a few on French grammar and such. An old anniversary edition of a Reader's Digest anthology. Some individual Shakespeares. And, my prized possession of those, my copy of Byron. It's leather-bound and the pages are gold-leafed. (It's just pretty. I'm not really a fan of Byron.) Most of them are from the 1800 to mid-1900s.

I said I had a lot of books, right? :D

so many books, randomness, meme
