VERY well-put post about assumptions of your degree of hockey knowledge/fandom based on your gender. I can hold my own or smoke most every guy I know in that category, and for me too, it is most definitely a _passion_. Nice work, articulating so well something that happens to a whole lot of us presumed puckbunnies out there...!

Also, I really dig that you were checking out the Lightning-Sens game tonight (noticed that on Oh No You Didn't!, which is what led me here).

Thank you so much, that post was prompted by some former friends, who saw a few comments I'd made about various players (*G* yes, I have my very very girly moments, they're embarassing, but they happen.), and I decided to protect myself by friends only-ing this, but I wanted to make sure that was said.

You're most entitled to your girly appreciation of les hockeyeurs as much as you are for their athletic skill or talent; what's really wrong with just more love? :) Now that said, you just broke my lil heart when I read your hockey-hate-on list, and found my favourite player of all time--Patrick Roy--but maybe we can work it out... :)

So, the Spezz-love: is that more of a skilled or girly nature? Or both?

That your journal is locked is kind of sad, because I used to follow (stalk? lurk?) you over here sometimes after posts at ONTD. I really enjoyed reading what you had to say because it entertained me (plus hello, fellow Pens fan). But anyway don't let some names that an idiot called you on the internet get you down, because it's easy to see that you know hockey.

thought you'd like to know that Andrew Ferrance (or however you spell it) is doing an interview on After Hours today on CBC Hockey Night in Canada; so if you get CBC (i know some parts of america do), you might want to watch (and even email them at afterhours@cbc.ca to ask a question!)

Oh, man, I WISH I got CBC, I'm so upset by this. I'd love to have seen it. If you happen to have a spare tape laying around, and you wouldn't mind taping, I could send you the money for the tape and shipping ;)
