Lunch and music.

Enjoying lunch with my "work husband," Ben, the topic turned to music, and Ben confessed he didn't "get" modern music. As in, anything not considered "classical" didn't excite him, didn't move him. Better start him off easy then.

"Battersea" by Hooverphonic, as an example.

I really don't care about the video...I just wanted you to hear the tune.

Yeah, music is still my first love, especially over bad movies, or bad reality TV. I'm not much into radio music much at all myself and have been having a hard time finding any new music that's any good lately. In almost every other decade, I can find something good, even amongst more popular music.

I admit though, I went from buying several CD's a week to buying only a few a year because of this.
