I just added some new people to my friend list and to be honest, it's very unusual for me to have this many LJ friends in many years. However, I like reading/lurking other people's journals - not just for entertainment but to learn some new things and most of the people on my friend list is cool.

The 519 area code? There are a lot of CHS locations in Ontario including Windsor. If you check out the website at www.chs.ca. on the front page and see "Interested in learning ASL", click on the link and find your locations on the right column. however, not all of them provide ASL classes depending on the location.
Peel and Toronto are probably the only ones that is very consistent with ASL classes.
CHS is a non profit organization so all the money from the course go directly to the deaf instructor and cost of materials.
In Toronto, there is also Bob Rumball Centre as well as George Brown College (if you're a student)

I do know they did offer some ASL classes at 519 Church Street under this organization. I suggest that you email the group (their email on the website) and find out.
One of my co-workers is a member and participant so I will ask him tomorrow!
