I'm being laid off (yet again) but this time, I have five months warning and the potential to move to the capital of Canada which is Ottawa to reapply for the same job I have now with the stipulation I learn written French and LSQ (French sign language).

Invariably, the hearing peers get hired over me 100% of the time just so the company wouldn't have to deal with booking interpreters or learning about accommodations.

Employers are incredibly shitty when it comes to do any type of extra work. For a good employee, that is small price to pay, and honestly, I don't even think it's all that inconvenient.
