That friends map thing is really neat. If you don't mind my asking, how ever did you do it?

Whatever happened to your worm-zilla?

I'm new to WTF_nature and have been reading through the past few hundred posts or so and came across your worm-zilla. Wondered whatever happened! Did it turn into its mothiness?

Oh, it was fun... he got all fat and happy and then one day he seemed to be gone! Well, his enclosure was secure, so we figured he burrowed and made the little underground cocoon that his type of worminess would make. I was afriad he'd come out and want to fly and instead of seeing sky he'd see our ceiling and get depressed or something, so I took the aquarium and put it outside under our porch with the top open so he could fly, fly away when he came out.

I'm sure he lived happily ever after.

I've seen no more of his kind, but I am still living at the same place and constantly watching, just in case :-)

Thanks for asking! It was a happy and fun experience for me and my son :-D

Well very cool!
Glad you guys got to have him for a while & take care of him & have fun doing it. :D
I've never seen a caterpillar/worm-thing thing of that size before, so it was really neat to see your post about it.
Thanks for sharing!
