Hey, I'm still here, but unfortunately, I'm still trying to get some things straightened out in RL before I start back on this fic. Health woes, job woes, etc., etc. Didn't want you to think I'd fallen off the face of the earth! Because my time is so limited, I'm going to finish the SW story before I can concentrate on this story again, but it's next on the list, lol!

Hello, again!

Yes, I know it's been centuries since you posted this, but instead of things settling down after Hawaii, we're talking some serious "going to hell in a handbasket" here. I had a bit of a cancer scare (in more than one location), that luckily turned out to be all benign after several weeks of tests.

Then, I decided to take a new job at the hospital that I thought was going to be less stressful, until I learned I had two weeks to learn the job and still had to work the other one until they found someone to replace me. So now I'm only working 14 to 17 hour days, lol!

But I sent hubby off today for his first day at work, and Miles kitty is doing fine on his twice-a-day thyroid medication. I'm gonna finish my SW fic before I start back on this one, but if you're still with me as a beta, I do plan on eventually finishing this darn thing!

I know pretty well how RL can be evil sometimes... I went through bad times last year, moments that put me out for sure. But bad times go away too!:)
I hope you (and your husband) are better now.

Thanks again. I very much appreciate your encouragement and your concern. Somebody once gave me a poster that said, "Just when you think you can make ends meet, somebody moves the ends." That's what life feels like to me right now, but I'm hopeful that things will eventually settle down.

I have just a few more chapters to finish on my Star Wars fic, then I can concentrate solely on this story. I wanna finish it as much as my readers do, trust me!
