Early Wednesday morning, I lost someone very dear to my heart.
My sister Janet passed away in a fire at her house. Her husband and two sons were in the house also, but they were able to get out.
David (Janet's husband) went back several times, and tried to get Janet.. but
apparently she felt trapped, and he could not get to her.

My thoughts and prayers are with David and the boys, you and the entire family - all shocked by this sudden and great loss. (Of which I too am a member.)

I was at a Charismatic Mass at the Catholic center at Emory University this morning, which was being said by a priest that is a close friend of mine. He surprised me by announcing at the beginning of the service, that this mass was for the special intention of the struggles that are going on in our family at present - this being the greatest and newest shock.

The mass was beautiful and very up-lifting. Please pass this on to the rest of the family along with my thoughts and prayers.
