I took a disco nap before going dancing tonight and awoke, having completely forgotten my green/gold/purple Mardi Gras mood from this morning.
Got downtown, noted... barricades? Oh shit! Mardi Gras!!
Made pains to forget that parking can be bad, succeeded, pulled into a tiny little spot in front of Elysium, and then had a nice, not-drunk-appearing frat boy say "hey, if you back up for 2 seconds, you can have my spot..."
Forty seconds later, I had rock star parking in front of Red Eye Fly, next to Elysium.
