Very complicated and while I really do hope that Tim goes to college, I can equally understand why this is also a good choice for him.
And Billy's going to be wicked pissed for a long time.
But at the end of the day, trying to make Tim do something he doesn't want to do? It's like trying to drive a nail into a brick, and you capture why that is in this story.
Wow. This is one of the most real FNL fics I've ever read. Tim's voice and headspace are just perfect. It broke me a little when Tim left his cleats, but I also thought it was something he needed to do, and this just expresses that brilliantly. Gorgeous fic. ♥
Wow, this is a gorgeous piece of work. So real, so intricate, so semi-grown-up S3 Tim. I've never thought of Lyla pushing Tim as some way of making him into a new Jason, but I think you've hit the nail on the head there. I adored it, even though it had me in tears, lol. Just like this silly show does to me every time.
Thanks so much for the feedback. I have to admit, I'm really fond of this story. The nice thing about fanfic is that we can pull any character back in without having to worry about contracts and appearance fees--it just seems like Tim and Jason would still have contact, even though we don't see Jason anymore.
Thanks so much for this - I had forgotten about this fic, but I loved it so much when we finished it. Tim is always so sad, or so easy to get to sad, and writing about the comparison of him and Jason is a perfect way to explore that. Glad you "got it" :)

I'd bookmarked this until this weekend because I'm a big-time spoiler avoider. Both the episode and this story were well worth the wait.

So - if it hasn't already come through. I loved your story. So well-written and I loved reading Tim's thoughts.

We do love Tim around here - or at least love torturing him ;)
