 Two days ago, I discovered a dog park in Centerville not far from my house. I thought, "Great! I'll take Jasmine! It will get her socialized with lots of dogs, and hopefully she'll get over the whole 'I'm so excited when another dog comes near!' thing." Thus far, it has worked beautifully. Apparently you need to plastic coat the inside of your car so you can hose it off when you hose down Jasmine! Seriously though, you may want to consider duct-taping heavy-duty garbage bags or something - or force her in her crate.

Dogs get over their dislike of mud pretty fast when they get hot. They can't sweat, so they'll brave the gunk to cool off.
