I've been meaning to for ages now, I was just worried about losing touch with my friends.

Now that I have BearBook along with other chat programs (facebook, bear underground, etc), I don't have to worry about that so much.

Do what I did. Give a one week deadline and notify people you chat with regularly (without mentioning any other chat program) that you are leaving and ask how you can get a hold of them, or they you.

Bear411 might be the most crowded place to talk to bears, but it isn't the best.

Besides, how many of the guys who actually use the program do you actually talk to?
