perhaps apropos of the convo, gratitude/in and so on; a thought I had a few weeks ago:

The Free Will choice between Heaven and Hell is NOW. We can make our existence a Heaven, bathing in eternal bliss no matter the circumstances; or we can be wretched no matter the circumstances.

...and if you can be happy no matter, then no one has power over you. Not saying it's easy. Not saying it's even possible, just that it's so.

Jason Gunn is a goofy looking celebrity who used to host kids TV. Then he vanished into the obscurity of radio or something, and has now turned up hosting a godawful show Fear Factor type show in NZ. He's one of those nostalgic celebrities ever ridicules, like Gary Colemen. Poor bastard. Here's a link to a picture of the great man and his new show:
